This week is the toughest week in the history of fantasy rugby. Eight of the teams won’t be announced by tomorrow. The Chiefs and The Hurricanes game in round 16 will be viewed as a bye by the fantasy game (please correct me if am I am wrong). I don’t really know what to do myself… All I know is that I need to get rid of some All Blacks pretty fast or I’ll be starting 8 players in round 16.

Teams on a BYE: none (30 day week)

Teams with Tough Match-ups: The Crusaders vs The Highlanders might be a bit tighter than expected as The Highlanders are back to full strength.

Injury Watch: check out the Fantasy XV Draft casualty ward.

DON’T TOUCH (SELL)

Julie Savea and Ardie Savea(HURR) – Julian is not even on the team sheet against The Force. Ardie is on the bench so you can bring in someone better who might play in round 16.

Kerr-BarlowCHIEFS) and TJ(HURR)- Again on a bye in week 16 so not worth having this week.

Sooo ….. transfers this week really come down to where you are in the league, and whether you believe the game guidelines which state this week is the first play-off week, or whether this is the last week of the regular season. IF you need to plan ahead, then you need to ditch Highlanders, CrusadersLions, who are all the better teams on byes next week – in that order of preference. As Bossman says, you need to top that up with ditching All Blacks if at all possible.

PAUSE (HOLD)

Naholo(HIGH) – I’d keep him this week as he might do ok against the Crusaders back 3. After all if anyone can Naholo is your man.

Kwagga Smith and Skosan(LIONS)– On a bye next week but could rack up major points against the Sunwolves.

However, if you think this is the last blow-out week, then hold fast to all your best players and try to maximise your finish in the ladder, because let’s face it play-offs are absolute nonsense, it’s all about finishing as high up in the rankings as possible.

Definitely keep your Lions, even if it cripples you next week. Just try to have some decent squad playing bench players. But keep hold of your fringe Hurricanes, Crusaders. Given all players that could be missing, there could be some high scoring Kiwi games that get pretty loose. Will Laumape and Aso both get called up for the ABs ? You’d think Bridge, Havili will still be playing for the saders.

ENGAGE (BUY)

Stormers players like SP Marais and Eben Etzebeth – He’s kicking at the moment and playing in both round 15 and round 16, a must I reckon.

Mann-rea(BRUM) – A week in week out starting hooker has been impossible to find this season, he plays a large part of the game and I need my transfers next week to bin a load of All Blacks.

Image result for professor xThis is split between tactical and strategic. Strategic, go Stormers, like Bossman said. Easier run in and less chance of missing players. I’m sticking with my Lions this week, dabbling with Jags, and just hoping to get some performances from the kiwis.
