TOP SCORER –Agustin Creevy with 118 points! Jack Goodhue deserves mentioning with 101, I have him at the start of the season until he got injured…

UNLUCKY PICKS – Liam Squire(HIGH) with 1 Broke his thumb 20 minutes into a game that The Highlanders won comfortably.

POOREST PERFORMERS – Vaea Fifita(HURR) -8 He accrued a host of penalties during the match this past weekend.

What has round 10 taught us:

  1. The Beaver is back and continues to defy the ageing process with his performances on the pitch. What a Legend!
  2. Naholo came up trumps which is no surprises, you can bet your bottom $ Julian Savea and him will be the starting wingers against The Lions in June.
  3. The Jaguares beat The Sunwolves and players like Senatore, Creevey, Lezana, Alemanno and Boffelli all made over 50 points at home. If you don’t have loads of cash and the Jags are playing at home, they are to be considered.
  4. The Du Preez brothers along with Phillip van der Walt put in great performances at the weekend. Phillip van der Walt being a lock in the game but playing at 6 was always a safe bet.
  5. The Bulls getting destroyed by The Crusaders at home does not come as a shock. I’ve not had anything good to say about the bulls style of rugby and fitness levels since day 1. I don’t see anything changing for them and they’ve had a couple more injuries this week too. It’s going to be a painful season for the men from Pretoria.
  6. The Stormers put on a much better performance against The Hurricanes than they did against The Highlanders. That said they could not contain the likes of Laumapae and Boden Barritt. With regards to Boden, honestly who can contain that guy? He’s a freak!
  7. The Blues beating The Tahs at home again just showed that the worst perfoming New Zealand team is still better than 2nd team in The Australian conference at home.
  8. Although The Tahs lost Izzy finally backed himself for a few runs and scored 2 tries, obviously I binned him last week, always fun to watch a player you’ve stuck with do nothing up until the point you sell him…pfffffffffff!Week11BestPerf
