TOP SCORER – Matt Faddes with a cool 100 points! Boden Barrett deserves mentioning as he made a cool 85 points again this week.

UNLUCKY PICKS – Tawera Kerr-Barlow(CHIEFS) failed the concussion test, made a measly 6 points which was 8 points less than TJ Perenara who came of off the bench… Naholo also only played 40 minutes and The Highlanders only got going in the second half, a drop in value of  $70K and a mere 18 points must have burnt.

POOREST PERFORMERS – Nic Stirzaker (REB) a jaw dropping -35 points! He takes 1st, 2nd and 3rd place is catergory this week. I feel for you if you had him last week.

What has round 9 taught us:

  1. The Sunwolves are getting better every week. The Sunwolves did well against the Highlanders in the first half. They play with speed and are not afraid to run the ball from anywhere. Britz and Helu both in the backrow made 77 and 56 points respectively this past weekend against The Highlanders…
  2.  Boden Barrett(HURR) is the chosen one. Another huge performance, he’s up to $480K, on a bye this week though. Aso made 77 point with 3 tries, what a buy at $266K.
  3.  The Kings beat The Tahs at home. I mean wow! If The Kings continue playing like they did this past weekend I expect them to win a few more games.  Their outside back are scored between 50-65 points this week. Willemse being the pick of the bunch with a cool 65 points.
  4. The Tahs are playing some terrible rugby and I believe they need to get a new coach, he’s tinkering with team every week which is killing their confidence. I’ll be looking to play players from other teams against them to make points from now on.
  5. The Sharks struggled against the Rebels at home which did surprise me. I think they are a bit hit and miss this season.
  6. The Cheetahs losing to the Bull was not expected. Both these teams are playing way below par, I expect this to continue unfortunately.
  7. Lastly The Crusaders smashed The Stormers, OMP that hurt. The Crusaders are just quality and are playing great rugby with a fantasic mix of experience and mostly young talent. I will be buying Crusaders player as soon as possible.Week9Dreamteam
